King/Senator Vern VI not killed by rebels, reforms in empire, massive militarization, felt Ilthin belonged to the Minns. Invaded new world, turned it to ruin. Small kingdoms/republics formed. Civil wars broke out as dictators took hold of nations. Tech receded a few centuries with bits of industrialization, taking centuries for tech progression to resume as normal.
