| The war began when Aeron soldiers attacked various Tinyan villages near the Tinyiel-Great Aerum border. When Aerum was told to withdraw their troops and pay for damages and reparations to families, Aerum refused stating that they had no control over that particular group of soldiers. Tinyiel gave Great Aerum two weeks to comply, and when the date was reached Tinyiel declared war.
