====Annexation of the Illiate Republics====

The 11th century was a time for global economic expansion with Minstonia beginning to take the top position in world affairs. With [[Pauria]] in the north beginning to return to a militaristic state, the [[Illiate|Illiate Republics]] realized that they would try to retrieve the provinces that the Illiate had added to the Republics centuries before.

In 1003ad, the Illiate Republics appealed to Minstonia requesting protection from the Paurians by annexing them. Minstonia agreed only on the condition that the majority of the Illiate forces would help the [[Vichsti Republic|Vichsti]] invade [[Torrovn]] so Minstonia could indirectly become involved in the conflict without declaring war.

The [[Minston-Torrovn War|North-Minston War of Torrovian Eradication]] ended in 1014 with Torrovn being split between Illiate and Vichsti. The next two years consisted of Minstonia and Illiate working on an integration agreement which concluded successfully. By 1016ad, Minstonia was now four times the size it was only 200 years prior.
