History
By the 13th century, it was becoming more necessary for faster naval travel between the Moreal and the Andreian Sea. A canal was proposed in 1387 to be built in Cuvea and construction began in 1402. The project was expected to be completed by 1410, but due to restrictions of several wars, the project wasn't completed until 1431. Once the canal was open, several countries who were barred from accessing the Andreian Sea by being denied access through the I.L. Channel were able to access and trade in the Andreian Sea. Even today the Central Ilthin Canal is an important location in international trade. After the Grand War, possession Central Ilthin Canal was transferred to the International League.
