In the early 1600s, the city was a horrible place to live. During the Grand War, airships bomb Doveres and the city came crumbling down, with people fleeing up the river. After the Grand War, reconstruction began, this time favoring a more traditional city. Following the war, the Minston government put into action the '''Restoration Plan of 1634''', completely rebuilding the city of Doveres from the ground up so that the government would again have permanent structures and so central Minston industry could get a kick start. Deviating from the old Gothic superstructures that made up the city before its destruction, Doveres would adopt a more modern structure of grid roads and independent structures. The structure of the city was also reorganized to fit modern needs. The Central Government was moved from the mainland to the Bae District, what used to be home to military bases and defense. The Inne District, which used to be home to fishermen and traders, was converted into an industrial complex and shipping yards. | |||
